Wates has trusted Hall Bros to deliver ongoing repairs to stations and rail properties since 2008. Works are carried out in a short window at night after the stations are closed and passenger trains have stopped operating.
Because of the nature of this contract, works are incredibly varied, and can be as small as replacing a loose paving slab that is causing a tripping hazard or the replacement of 50m² of tarmac surfacing that has been affected by hot or cold weather conditions.
In particular, we have laid copers, paving and tactiles, as well as completely resurfaced platforms. We have also carried out clearance work and repairs to drainage systems and guttering, rebuilt walls, repaired fences and gates and replace anti-slip boards and surfaces.
