The Project In Detail

This planned supply chain project, for Network Rail through SISK, involved a number of our services to complete the renewal of the crossing.

The first stage of the works required the removal of the panels and old beams to prepare for the installation of the new beams and the leveling of the road approach. 23 tonnes of tarmac were used to re-level the crossing and the roadway.

We also installed new walkway tactiles and white lines. The crossing was ready to reopen in just 2 days.

Our work with the rail industry includes both planned projects and reactive works. We are trusted by suppliers to complete work on short notice as well as part of ongoing contracts. Examples of our reactive work can be found within our case studies.
