This supply chain project, for Costain via SEE, started in the early hours of Christmas Day as the station was closed allowing us to avoid disruption. The works carried out required a variety of our services.
In the first seven days we successfully lifted 65m of copers, knocked down a retainer wall and our bricklaying team rebuilt it. We also started laying new copers and 180m of tactiles with temporary tarmac behind the tactiles ready for the next project. The second phase involved the installation of new white and yellow lines across the platform.
