Working with Greater Anglia, Hall Bros was directed to plain out and repair spalled and damaged surfaces in the Lowestoft Station car park in Suffolk.

Due to the accessibility and square meterage of the work zone at approximately 576m sq., works on this project were carried out using a tarmac laying machine. After plaining out the spalled and damaged surface of the station staff car park, our team regulated the base of this area with a 20mm binder course.

This was followed by a tack coat base and sealing the edges of the new tarmac, then installing a further 14mm course into the existing line, levelling this over the band. Once the tarmac surface had set and been thoroughly cleaned, we carried out the painting of new line markings on the surface. All work was completed within two days of starting.
