Working directly with Greater Anglia, Hall Bros successfully completed the fencing work at Ingatestone Station near car park to erect swan picket fence on platform 1 and installed a replica of a new fence up on platform 2.

Before commencing the works, our site foreman Carl Harris will then brief the operatives their tasks to ensure that safe system of work is been acknowledge by individuals to control and minimise any risk may encounter on site. We are highly aware how important it is to have a plan when removing and installing fence posts.

Due to the location of the car park that is situated adjacent to the building and has limited car parking spaces accessing the sites with plant and equipment is vital precautions are needed for operatives and for the public’s safety.

The installed fence needs to be 46.4 meters long and 1.2 meters high as required for the job. As we reinforced the pickets with a brace, the wooden post will then have bolted to the concrete platform while the existing chain link fence and posts are to be taken down and removed from site.

All works are completed during day service. Drawings and CAT Scan will be used and carried out to identify any buried services. A permit to dig will be completed for all intrusive excavations works, using digging tool. Any debris are removed and taken away all to the waste sites.
